"Early memories my Father's "fix-it-all" attitude, Mom's stained glass studio, and my Brother's pursuits in photography started an appreciation for the creative process that still inspires me."

I like artwork that catches my eye and rewards an investigation with some type of imaginative and mysterious possibility. I have found such experiences with the work of artists such as Joseph Bueys, Jean DuBuffet, and Cy Twombly.
My practice of making art entertains a multi-media approach which centers towards painting and drawing. The unknown visualization I employ to guide my creative process is highly bound with the intuitive progression of abstract expressionism, while my interest in the modern art world and it's people brings pop culture's brewing hope and angst into the thought stream.
Because of how fast the world is moving, combined with the reality of living in the middle of nowhere, I enjoy a unique point of station. By nature I am not a very extroverted person but do enjoy the company of a select few quality individuals.  If the situation demands I can usually rise to the conversation, but in all honesty I'd rather be painting and observing what the visual world has to offer.
